First Mimicry Artist after the Doyen of Mimicry Sri Nerella Venumadhav to have international performances to his credit. Received individual invitation from various organizations internationally. Starting with the TANA Regional Conference in 1990-91 at New Orleans, USA, Sylvester toured extensively and enthralled the audiences with his creditable performances. He gave a second performance for TANA at its Atlanta Conference, which he attended alongwith famous cine-artist Sri Murali Mohan. His shows were held at New York, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC, Columbus, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Tampa Bay, Boston, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Cleveland, Houston and Denver in USA. He also performed at the Conference of American Association of Physicians from India (AAPI) in New Orleans, USA. Sylvester is indebted to Dr Donepudi Sarath, Dr Kata and Sri Gandhi for making these programs possible.

Sylvester also gave creditable performances at Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi in United Arab Emirates. In 1994, Sylvester was invited to Birmingham for a single show by the European Telugu Association (ETA). Sylvester had the rare honour of going to London alongwith the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N T Rama Rao. It was really his privilege to be invited for the single show and was specially felicitated. His performances were held almost in the four corners of the world. Beyond doubt, we can say wherever there are Telugu people, Sylvester's mimicry program was held there. While it was possible only for Sylvester to entertain lovers of Mimicry for over four decades, he had received countless rewards, awards, accolades and felicitations from associations and great personalities connected to the stage, cinema, cultural and political fields during this period.

Sylvester had the rare distinction of performing on all the three days during the World Telugu Conference held at Chennai on 28, 29 and 30 December 1994 and receiving their felicitations. On the invitation of the Telugu Associations, he had performed at Bhilai, Surat, Rourkela, Lucknow, Baroda, Bharuch, Nagpur, Raipur, Balco Township, Jagdalpur, Chakradharpur, Jamshedpur, Pune, Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Salem, Bellary, Gangavathy, Sinthanur, Ranchi, Raipur, Patna, Mount Abu, Bokaro and other places and was greatly honoured by them.

Sylvester the Artist:
Sylvester is not just a mimicry artist. He is an accomplished actor, versatile director and an entertaining ventriloquist. In the "Nandi Drama Festival 2000" of the Govt. of AP, "Prema Samrajyam" of Kaladarsini in which Sylvester acted and directed, he had won four Nandi awards (Second Best Play, Best Costumes, Best Music and the Jury Award). This is a matter of great pride for the cultural history of Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. In his school days, he was also good in sports and games and bagged many medals, cups and trophies.

Subjects of the Shows:
It is not an exaggeration to say that there is no sound which Sylvester cannot mimic. Sounds of birds and animals, cyclones and hurricanes, lightning and thunderstorms, trains and rockets, bombings and world wars, voices of great personalities, celebrities, political leaders, film and stage artists, tribal and rural people, scenes and situations from day-to-day life and films – everything comes into life in Sylvester's voice.

Social Dimension:
Sylvester is having a deep concern for the society. He has not only entertained the society with his mimicry, but has contributed to a great extent to the cause of social awareness and social welfare. He rendered laudable service to create awareness among general public about the schemes and programs of the Govt. Agencies and Voluntary Organizations on issues such as family welfare, savings, adult education, AIDS, liquor prohibition, superstitions and so on. He successfully proved that art is also for the society and was acclaimed as a People's Artist. He had given a good number of programs for the benefit of the needy people and charitable organizations.

Accolades and Honours:
During the first convention of the AP Working Journalists Union on 1972, Sri Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy, the then Finance Minister, hailed Sylvester as "Silver Star". From then onwards, Sylvester came to be popularly known as "Silver Star". Sylvester had the rare privilege and honour receiving the appreciation, blessings and felicitation from the present Governor of AP Sri Narasimhan, former Governors of AP Sri K C Abraham, Smt Kumud Ben Joshi, Sri Kona Prabhakara Rao and from former President of India Sri Abdul Kalam. Sylvester also received appreciations, blessings and mementoes from Sri N T Rama Rao, Sri T Anjaiah, Sri Bhavanam Venkatram, Sri Nadendla Bhaskara Rao, Sri N Chandra Babu Naidu, Sri N Kiran Kumar Reddy - all former Chief Ministers of AP, Speaker of Loksabha Sri Balayogi and many other political leaders, film personalities and IAS, IPS, IRS and other officials.

From the film industry, starting with noted playback singer G Anand, Sylvester had the blessings and honours from singers S P Bala Subramanyam, Rama Krishna, Music Directors Chakravarthy, Koti, Vandemataram Srinivas, R P Patnaik, renowned Directors Dasari Narayana Rao, Kodi Rama Krishna, Raghavendra Rao, K Viswanadh, Jandhyala, famous Actors Akkineni, Jaggaiah, Chiranjeevi, Bala Krishna, Murali Mohan, Krishnam Raju, Gummadi, Mikkilineni, Sobhan Babu, Nutan Prasad, Chandra Mohan, Thanikella Bharani, Sai Kumar, Rallapalli, Comedians Raja Babu, Brahmanandam, AVS, Mada, Kondavalasa, Babu Mohan and Acresses Jamuna, Janaki, Jayasudha, Jayaprada, Jayachitra and so on. Sylvester was greatly appreciated and honoured by many IAS, IPS, IRS and other higher officials.

A special magazine named "Sylvester Vijayotsavam" was published jointly by Yuva Kalavahini and Chaitanya Art Theatres on 27 Feb 1987 at Hyderabad as a Souvenir congratulating Sylvester to coincide the gala celebrations held by them on the completion of 3000 performances by Sylvester.

Silver Jubilee:
On crossing the mark of 25 years as a mimicry artist, Silver Jubilee celebrations were held at many places. The most colorful and memorable one of all is the "Silver Jubilee Celebrations" organized at Hyderabad by a team of hosts that include men of great fame and name such as Justice Punnaiah, Actor Murali Mohan, Prabhakar Reddy IAS, Mallela Babu Rao IPS, Dr Samaram and Kalabandhu K K Raja.

Titles and Awards:
A felicitation is not just honouring with a shawl, garland, bouquet and memento. It is a symbol of the wisdom and goodwill of the organizers. It displays their recognition, love and appreciation of the art and the artist. Most prominent among the felicitations received by Sylvester is the "Sylvester Vijayotsavam" organized by Yuva Kalavahini and Chaitanya Art Theatres, Hyderabad at Thyagaraya Gana Sabha, Hyderabad in February 1987 to commemorate the successful completion of 3000 mimicry shows by Sylvester. It was organized on a grand scale by Kalabandhu Sri K K Raja.
